The leafless fan is inspired by the air blade hand dryer. The principle of the air blade hand dryer is to force the air to “blow” the water on the hand through a small opening. The air multiplier blows the air out of a 1.0 mm wide slit that is rotated around the ring amplifier. Since the air is forced to blow out of this circle, the amount of air that passes through can be increased by 15 times, and its speed can reach 35 kilometers per hour. The air flow of the air multiplier is smoother than that produced by a normal fan. It produces the same amount of air as the best performing fan on the market.
